This is the first collection of Gaelic poetry and songs by William Angus Matheson (Uilleam Aonghas MacMhathain) of the Isle of Lewis.

Published by Clo Fuigheagan, this collection is entirely in Scots Gaelic, and features poems on love, war, longing, humour, spirituality and other subjects rooted in the Gaelic traditions of poetry.

William Angus Matheson's songs and poetry have been recorded by leading Gaelic singers, including Fiona MacKenzie, and William has won many awards at the Royal National Mod for his writing.

He lives on the Isle of Lewis, and is a passionate advocate of the Gaelic language.

This highly accessible collection of his poems and songs will appeal to Gaelic readers from across the Gaelic world, as well as to learners of the language.
